It is always a good time to read!!
The Dairy Queen Treats Reading Cards can be done all year round. The students were given a letter that told how and a card to get signed when they finished the needed pages for each treat. Remind them to read and then DQ treats could be theirs.
The school encourages reading throughout the year with a variety of reading challenges such as Tundra Trails and the Timber Rattler reading challenge. Don't forget Read Across America Week February 26, 2018 to March 3, 2018. At CACS we read to succeed!
Practice Math Facts!
Students should practice their Math Facts. 10 minutes a night is all it takes!
Practice Reading!
Each day the students should be reading something at home for at least 10 minutes. This helps with comprehension, fluency, and even vocabulary and sentence structure. There is a NEED to READ for every child. Sit down and have a good read with your child today!
